H.E. Amb. Percy Tamayo, D-USA Born in Lima, Peru at the age of 20 he came to United States looking
the American dream as he said “I found The American Dream the minute I put the first step in the JFK
Airport” he said. Amb. Tamayo becomes an American Citizen in 1996.

He was like any other immigrant who came we almost nothing only with his hart and soul to succeeded an
this competited market. We only a high school education work very hard to achieve his goals did so many
jobs to survive and found a opportunity in the auto industry Starting as a salesman an work hi way out as
a Management Finance Director and  get involved in Marketing, Multimedia to help the dealership to find
a different market opportunity’s amount the Multicultural  market.

Son of a great visionary Peruvian Gov. Hon. Oswaldo J. Tamayo Jimenez Industrial Ingeniery and expert
in the Textile Industry, consultant to The World Bank and various Infraestruction Projects in Peru and
President of the region “Jose Carlos Mareategui” Southern Region of Peru 2002-2004 Executor of the
Carretera TransOceanica The exit from the Pacific to the Atlantic, Hydroelectric San Gaban and others
Proyects in his region. At early age he travel with his father in the interior of Peru to learn the value of life
and to see how the people of Peru live in poverty.

Amb. Tamayo self educated himself attending seminars of marketing, Business and Finance in the Auto
Industry since 1984 getting a great achieves working an various Auto Dealerships to maximize profitability
and help Multicultural customers to get the right auto loan.

Amb. Tamayo is the founder and Ambassador at Large Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary  of The United
Humanitarian Relief Fund, Inc. a NGO, IGO organization supporter of the United Nations System and MDG
Millennium Development Goals.  

Amb. Tamayo is a Member Board of Advisor and Media Relations Director to the (Millennium
Development Goals) MDG Awards Committee and focal point is the multimedia platform to the United
Nations MDG Awards Committee in charge of work and initiatives relating to the multicultural business,
media placement analysis and coordinator of special events for The MDG Awards Committee. He is a
founder and CEO of Impacto Latino Media Group, Inc. and Impacto Latino News a Multicultural Multimedia
Platform Company. He worked in the marketing and production of various events for Public-Private
organizations.

Amb. Tamayo is also the founder of Mobile Impact a Multimedia Platform of Mobile Advertizing SMS,
AmeriGlobal Group a division of ILMG, Higher Power Clean Energy Group and e-wind DIRECT a
Renewable Energy Generator and Distributor of Wind Power Clean Energy, Solar Energy Technology.

Amb. Tamayo served as a Special Adviser to the President of WAFUNIF the World Association of former
United Nations Internes and Fellows. WAFUNIF has members in 148 countries and all regions of the
world an official United Nations Peace Messenger. WAFUNIF was founded by internes engaged in a
research project of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) entitled, A Survey of
United Nations Internships and Fellowships, under the direction of the late Professor Emeritus Dr. Helen
C. Lahey-Rammel.

Impressed with the recurrent demand by former internes and fellows for the formation of an “alumni”
association to keep them in touch with the United Nations system, these young people sought and
received support from the Institute.  In 1978, WAFUNIF was founded; subsequently it received (1980 to
1981) status as a not-for-profit, tax-exempt, international non-governmental organization in Category II
(now Special Category), Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations
and association with the United Nations Department of Public Information.  In October 1983, the Trade
and Development Board accorded WAFUNIF consultative status in the General Category with the United
Nations Conference on Trade and Development.  In recognition of WAFUNIF’s significant contribution to
the International Year of Peace, the then UN Secretary-General H.E. Dr. Javier Perez de Cuellar
designated WAFUNIF as a United Nations Peace Messenger, on 15 September 1987.

Amb. Tamayo has organized numerous events Like The Fund and emergency relief Tele - Marathon for
the victims of the earthquake in Peru which measured 7.0 on the Richter scale, struck the region on 15
August 2007, killing hundreds and leaving almost 700,000 homeless. The Fund and emergency relief
Marathon for the victims of the floods in Ecuador April 2008 leaving 500,000 homeless, The International
Day of the Non Violence – October 2nd. Celebration (UN General Assembly Resolution A/61/L.62), The
Worldwide March for Peace and Nonviolence Oct. 2nd 2009 to Jan 2nd 2010 and others that have
impacted the Latin Community’s culture as well as its economical development.

Prior to his work at United Humanitarian Relief Fund, Amb. Tamayo was a business entrepreneur,
working in various cities of the Nation and International as well as being a Supporter to numerous
organizations, such as the American Red Cross, American Cancer Society and the March of Dimes.  His
altruistic spirit continues to spread among other organizations seeking the cultural and economic growth
of Latin American and its residents.  

Ambassador Tamayo since 1993 He has been the Advocate for the North American Free Trade
Agreement - NAFTA (The agreement came into force on January 1, 1994) an a Independent advocate for
the Hispanic Immigration Rights since 1983, Advocate the Peruvian TPS (2006), Human Rights, The
United States – Peru Trade Promotion Agreement (The Agreement was implemented on February 1,
2009) the Rights for Non Violence and Renewable Clean Energy, Climate Change among others. Amb.
Tamayo he speaks Spanish, English and Portuguese.
